Henry Cavill Superman Man of Steel Justice League

Henry Cavill Superman Man of Steel Justice LeagueA new concept design imagines Justice League star Henry Cavill with the classic Superman look for the DC Extended Universe.

After almost playing the Kal-El in Superman: Flyby, Henry Cavill eventually got his shot at playing the DC Comics hero in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. Since then, Cavill has also played the Last Son of Krypton in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. After his third appearance, there was some doubt that Cavill would ever return to the role, but it’s now being reported that Cavill is in talks to suit up as the character once again in a future DC movie.

It’s unclear what DC movie Henry Cavill’s Superman will turn up in next, but many believe it will either be the Shazam! sequel or The Flash. With the addition of news that Michael Keaton is in talks to return as Batman, it’s a good time to be a DC fan. However, many are hoping Cavill will also be getting another Superman solo film where he could be sporting a new look. On Instagram, digital artist “Jscomicart” has shared some fan art of Cavill adopting the classic “S” curl, which is something he hasn’t had in the DC Extended Universe yet. You can see the Superman fan edit for yourself below!

Henry Cavill was last seen as Superman in Justice League. Here’s the official synopsis for the movie

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
